ABOUT

After 27 years of serving local councils in Hampshire, I rose to Acting Head of Development Control at Southampton City Council. Careful, considered research and attention to detail have always been an integral part of my work ethic.

Not only a hard-working Town and Country Planner, I also have a Postgraduate Diploma in Urban Design from Oxford Brookes University. My extensive knowledge of Urban Design will help you and your clients to understand how buildings, spaces, and land uses fit together. Through the process of Urban Design, I can help you justify how your proposal fits into the local environment.

Notwithstanding the Government’s drive to simplify the planning system, applying for and obtaining planning permission can still be a complex, and sometimes, frustrating process. I founded Achieve: Town Planning & Urban Design Ltd. in August 2013 with the aim of solving this intricate planning maze with you. My independent planning consultancy will help you, and your clients, present and promote their plans for the best chance of success.
